2017 Financial Empowerment: Focus on People with Disabilities Now Accepting Letters of Interest For 2017 Cohort!

For all CILs interested in providing financial literacy and empowerment education to your consumers, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) are now accepting letters of interest for their 2017 Financial Empowerment: Focus on People with Disabilities 2017 Cohort.

What is financial empowerment: Focus on people with disabilities?

Financial Empowerment: Focus on People with Disabilities is an initiative run by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) that operates on a “train the trainer” model. Approximately 30 organizations will be selected to receive education and resources from CFPB’s Your Money, Your Goals and FDIC’s Money Smart materials in order to train members of their organization to use these tools with consumers.
