Act Now to Gain A Voice on the Long Term Care Commission

Nothing About Us Without Us 2012 signThree more appointments to the Long Term Care Commission have been made by Congress.

So far, a dozen people have been appointed. These include doctors, policy experts, a union leader, and nursing facility / assisted living representatives. A number have expertise in aging services.

  • None represent the disability community.
  • None use attendant services.
  • None represent the point of view that this is a civil rights issue.

Act Now!

The President has the final three appointments. Tell him to appoint representatives from ADAPT and NCIL, who would bring our unique perspective as well as decades of experience working on these issues!
