  • Identify best practices for developing a successful content creation and deployment strategy through numerous examples, case studies, and tools as shared by a marketing expert in the IL field

Meet Your Presenter

Carol Voss is PR & Marketing Director at IndependenceFirst in Milwaukee, WI and has been there for the past 13 years. She is the digital strategist for social media and digital web profiles and is a frequently-requested presenter for nonprofit and business audiences throughout the Midwest on best practices for media relations and social media relationship-building. She successfully gains news features and community expert source quotes in online, print, and television media monthly; she has also been using social media to accomplish PR goals.  She creates messages, brand consistency and advertising plan/budget to meet over 20 program area’s needs at one of the largest ILCs in the nation.  In addition, she builds community relations with area leadership and uses online-to-offline relationship-building strategies to benefit the organization’s advocacy, volunteer, donation, program participation and publicity goals.
