National Organizing Project Announces Mini-Grants for Emerging ADAPT Groups

The National Organizing Project (NOP), a collaborative between the National Council on Independent Living and ADAPT, with funding from the Ford Foundation, is proud to offer mini-grants to support 10 emerging ADAPT groups (those groups who have not yet met the criteria for becoming a chapter) in their direct organizing efforts. We recognize that seed money is difficult to come by and are proud to be able to ease this burden for 10 groups. All interested groups are encouraged to apply. Applications are due Friday, April 13, 2018.

This will be a competitive process. All applications submitted within the timeframe will be reviewed by a panel of referees. Final determinations are expected to be made by April 20, 2018 with notifications expected by April 27, 2018. If you have questions, concerns, or accommodation requests, please do not hesitate to contact the NOP’s Community Living Advocate, Sheryl Grossman by phone at 202-864-4249 (v) or by email at [email protected].
