Meet Your Presenter

Karen Eber Davis is a leading authority on income growth strategies for nonprofits. She helps leaders generate the ideas, resources, and funding they need to fulfill their goals and create extraordinary impact.

Karen’s articles and work have been featured in a variety of publications including Advancing Philanthropy, CharityChannel, Nonprofit World, and The Nonprofit Times. Karen has also published over 200 articles and contributed a chapter to You and Your Nonprofit Board. Her monthly newsletter, Added Value and regular column, The Ingenious Nonprofit, help leaders to find exciting ways accomplish more missions, more money and support. Her book, 7 Nonprofit Income Streams: Open the Floodgates to Sustainability! was published in November by CharityChannel Press.

In April of 2014, Karen was one of the co-presenters at CIL-NET’s Establishing and Managing Fees-for-Service at Centers for Independent Living in Denver, CO. Earlier Karen developed Sarasota County’s Community Development Block Grant Program. Under her leadership, the infant program received the National Association of Counties National Affordable Housing Award for the Down Payment Assistance Program that helped over 1,800 families. She also worked with the City of Ft. Lauderdale, the Florida Department of State’s Division of Cultural Affairs, and several institutions associated with the Lutheran Church.
