RTCIL Releases Issue Briefs on Access to Care for Kansans with Brain Injuries and Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities

Listening to Consumers: Brain Injury and Access to Health Care

The Research and Training Center on Community Living has produced an Issue Brief on “Improving Access to Health Care for Kansans with Brain Injuries” (PDF). This report presents information that was provided by Kansans who have brain injuries, their families and their caregivers. Based on their input, RTCIL recommends ways to change policies and practices to improve the health care experience of Kansans with brain injuries.
